Artwork painted for the Bloomsday Festival in Szombathely, Hungary. It’s inspired by Episode 5 of Ulysses, “The Lotus Eaters” and references the people and places Leopold Bloom encounters in the chapter in the city of Dublin. The festival is a collaboration between the Department of Foreign Affairs, Project Arts Centre Dublin and the city of Szombathely.
